What you'll do

Planisware is looking for an innovative Event & Field Marketing Manager who will play a vital role in strategizing and executing marketing events to fuel our sales pipeline across multiple markets throughout the Americas. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales and marketing goals by understanding, prioritizing, and creating industry-specific, targeted marketing events for our partners and prospects. Our ideal candidate has exceptional project management and leadership abilities and is passionate about delivering revenue-driving strategies to B2B SaaS companies. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Events & Community.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a variety of high-quality events (digital primarily), on time, on budget and in alignment with Planisware’s growth and sales goals. Events will focus on webinars and demos.
  • Project manage all aspects of an event including, but not limited to, goals, objectives, KPIs, contract negotiation, production, operations, budgets, logistics, speakers, suppliers, follow-up, reporting, and more.
  • Develop all communication – internal and external – for the events to drive pipeline/revenue and make recommendations for improved performance and reach. This includes copy for landing pages, promotional emails, event communication, forms, and more.
  • Partner cross functionally with several teams to bring events to life by driving alignment between event goals, messaging, and measurable outcomes through communication, collaboration, and transparency across the organization.
  • Build relationships with SMEs, associations, and partners for events and opportunities.
  • Market and promote events over multiple channels, and evaluate all events’ impact and ROI to determine the success and forecast for potential future investment 
  • Help with annual customer user conference: F&B, logistics, speaker management, coordination, communication, reporting, and more.
  • Assist with other company events, inbound and outbound demand generation, and marketing projects

What is expected from you

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in events, field marketing, or similar role, that drive pipeline growth for B2B / SaaS products.
  • Demonstrated experience designing events that are repeatable, scalable, and drive engagement to create a lead rich environment.
  • Integrated Marketing Experience: Knowledge in building strategies for integrated marketing programs including, but not limited to, email campaigns, virtual and physical events, nurturing programs, digital and social media programs, etc.
  • Event experience: Produce, manage, and implement events and conferences – both in-person and digital – and knowledge of event marketing best practices.
  • Communication: An excellent communicator, both at the executive level and with peers and cross-functional teams, and able to build trusted relationships.
  • Tools: Experience using Salesforce, Marketo, and other marketing and office productivity and collaboration tools.
  • A flexible, energetic, high performer with a willingness to take initiative, be resourceful, think creatively, and hands on with execution.
  • Confident at managing campaigns supporting multiple products and solutions; thinking strategically, prioritizing tasks, and able to work independently.
  • Attention to detail and quality, with strong time management skills.
  • Data-driven and strong reporting capabilities. You have a grasp on crucial marketing KPIs and how to optimize your campaigns to drive performance.
  • Experience using virtual event platforms (i.e. GoToWebinar, Bizzabo, ZoomWebinar, etc.) and comfortable training stakeholders on technology (dry runs, run of show).
  • Willingness to learn and work in a growing marketing team and expand the role.
  • Knowledge of project and portfolio management helpful but not required.
  • Experience using HTML to create emails & landing pages for marketing campaigns helpful but not required.
  • Able to travel when travel returns up to 15% and manage on-site event logistics.

Education/Certifications

  • BA or equivalent required
  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and/or Digital Event Strategist (DES) designation a plus
