What you'll do

The Account Manager is responsible for over all customer account management. He/She will focus on acquiring additional revenue streams from existing clientele as well as bringing on new customers who can benefit from our benefit offerings while serving as the primary point of contact to some of Planisware’s most valued and high-profile customers. As an Account Manager, he/she will be responsible for meeting annual quota while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. He/She will report to SVP, North America.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for managing accounts and be the face of the company to clients.
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to their accounts
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Oversee customer account management including contract negotiations/terms, statements of work, master service level agreements etc.
  • Identify and develop an in-depth understanding of each sales prospect, their buying and organizational influences and their decision-making processes.
  • Achieve high sales targets and goals while motivating Pre-Sales/BDRs to do the same.
  • Develop new business including opening new opportunities with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Give sales presentations to high-level executives.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Work with cross-functional teams within Planisware including product development, support, professional services, and sales and marketing to create customer success
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Work with customer teams including project management offices, process owners, trainers, business sponsors and other key stakeholders to ensure they are using Planisware to its fullest
  • Feeding back all suggestions for improvement and market research to management and ensuring they are aware with all competitive activities within accounts and preventing attrition.

What is expected from you

Qualifications required:

  • BA/BS and 5 years minimum selling enterprise software and service solutions
  • A proven track record of lead generation and qualification, account penetration, growth, and revenue recognition
  • Proven experience in selling one of the following applications: enterprise software, PPM software, or Portfolio Management
  • Proven and successful sales experience at managing resources and complex, multidimensional sales effort at the customer level and corporate environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to travel (US and international)
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic; capable of working alone or with a team
  • USA Citizenship or equivalent employment authorization

Preferred:

  • Experience in the area of new product development, research & development management, resource management and project control and engineering solutions
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced emerging organization
  • Experience selling at the executive level
  • A sound appreciation of Innovation and Technology Management
