What you'll do

About the Role:

Join Planisware’s mid-market team, dedicated to democratizing efficient project portfolio planning. Take responsibility in developing this fast-growing business, helping companies strategize and deliver on their vision.

In this customer-facing role as a Sales Engineer, you will interface regularly with key stakeholders to address complex, organization-specific, business process needs, translating them into functional requirements, designing proof-of-concepts, and presenting product demos to prospective customers, becoming both a trusted advisor and a product expert.

You will be involved in building value propositions, become an integral part of our Sales team and liaise with our implementation consulting team.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective customers to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Design and present proof-of-concept demonstration & hands-on workshop.
  • Scope and document requirements for consultants to implement.
  • Develop and produce high-quality product demonstration videos, or written collateral webinars in coordination with Marketing.
  • Organize and conduct webinars showcasing the features and benefits of our PPM solution alongside Mid-Market Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with the development & sales team to implement standard database enhancements and optimizations.
  • Engage with existing customers to evaluate their evolving needs, acting as a functional expert and facilitating upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and develop customer use cases and foster long term relationships.

What is expected from you

Qualifications:

  • B.S. Business Management or similar field +2 years of relevant experience
  • Project management experience and/or familiarity with PPM processes
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced emerging organization
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities
  • A self-starter with a highly developed work ethic
  • Previous experience in the Enterprise SaaS industry
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
  • US citizenship or equivalent employment authorization
